[Free books] Stephen Fry Presents: Oscar Wilde's Stories For All Ages: Volume 1 (Audio Download): Amazon.co.uk: Oscar Wilde, Stephen Fry, HarperCollins Publishers Limited: Audible AudiobooksAuthor Oscar Wilde – Schematicwiringdiagram.co

Oscar Wilde s Fairy Tales continue to exert the same pull over the imagination and emotions as they did when he first read them to his children in the s Written with inspired poetic intensity and sudden flowerings of the matchless wit for which he is so well remembered, the stories combine the wisdom of parables with the impact of drama I have loved them since I was a child indeed they continue to make a child of me I do not mind admitting that at the recording some passages were hard to read out loud without choking I hope you will be as entranced by them as I have always been written by Stephen Fry

The negative review here is not anything to do with Oscar He was a genius and one of the writers I love most This review is over the Wordsworth edition It is not the bargain it looks as the quality of the paper is wretched little better than newsprint, the binding is shoddy and there is no critical introductions Wordsworth editions always used to offer good quality for the small amount they charged but now you definitely get what you pay for with their hardback editions Go for the Collins for better paper and introductions to each work.

I love the Wordsworth Library Collection Fantastic books I love the thin paper with coloured pages Great illustrations Regarding Wilde, I have several copies of his collected works from different prints, he is that good.

Considering this book contains all the works of Oscar Wilde, it has a relatively small size without having a very small font, which is a relief That s point one.Point two Oscar Wilde is a genius His way of writing is really his own, you can see that in everything he wrote, from his personal letter De Profundis to any of his ficcion He has a peculiar kind of humor, a very intelligent one, but one can still very easily relate to it On the other hand, you may get some sort of Wilde fever and read a lot of his works in a row and then get a little tired of it But from my experience, you get over that quick
