Annual magnus opus on Revenue Law Always up to date and covering all major taxes whilst other works of this length like Tiley only issue a new edition every 3 years or so and doesnt cover taxes like VAT, NIC and Stamp Taxes but 3 times the price Generally accessible and not overly technical but plenty of detail making it suitable for practitioners as well as advanced studies Tables of both statutes and cases make finding narrative on particular provisions easier than in Tiley which only has a table of cases Indexing also comprehensive and usuable although some subjects are under headings that are not immediately obvious There are academic works but the practical approach of this publication is particularly helpful in practice Worthy of a place on every tax lawyer s bookcase despite the high price compared to other tax texts.
